Michigan Storm

Michigan Winter Storm

This weekend and week has been pretty crazy for us here in Michigan and I know it has been for many others as well.  Yes, this is supposed to be a Wordless post, but it is turning out to not be.  We are all fine here.  This snow storm was the  most snow I have seen in 7 years of living out here.

Now, two days after the storm roads are still a mess, some are closed due to ice and other things.  My father in law tried to drive 15 miles to a job today and it took him an hour and half to get there.  It is pretty crazy what this storm did to us.  This is all coming from a county that boasts about its great plow service, but this time they really fell through.

My mother in law even hired someone to plow our driveway, but they failed at doing that and in the process broke our mailbox.  A brand new one that the landlord put in less than a year ago.  It has been crazy around here and we need to repair the car though its an easy fix it won’t be fun in the freezing cold outside.

It’s crazy how much is still frozen. Some of the main roads around here are still sheets of ice.
